Honda Recalls 45,153 Motorcycles

Honda has issued a recall notice for a number of motorcycle models through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Each of the potentially 45,153 affected units may have had sealant incorrectly applied to the starter relay switch and “as a result, the electrical system may have a loss of power.” A sudden loss of electrical power may cause the engine to stall in increase the risk of a crash. The list below includes all affected models in the recall notice.

Honda will contact owners and dealers will replace all affected starter relay switches, free of charge. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-866-784-1870. Honda’s recall number is JS9 and JT0.
