Ducati Reveals XDiavel draXter Concept

Ducati headed over to this year’s Motor Bike Expo of Verona with some interesting concepts, one of which the company’s dubbed the XDiavel draXter. According to Ducati press, this is the Italian marque’s interpretation of the power cruiser from a sports standpoint. It was created in the Ducati Design Center’s Advanced Design area and has a number of elements taken directly from another popular bike in the company’s line-up, the Panigale.

The base is a stock XDiavel, but it’s been modified to handle duties at the drag strip, with rear sets placed way back near where a pillions pegs might be found, clip-ons, Panigale suspension and braking components (Ohlins and Brembo), Termignoni exhaust and a big, fat, flat Pirelli rear slick. The number 90 is painted on the machine to add to the racing flair of the draXter, but to also honor Ducati’s 90th anniversary, which the company celebrates this year.

Check out the photos and a short teaser video below and let us know what you think, would you be game to run this bad bike down a quarter-mile of tarmac?
