MotoUSA Digital Issue 12 Now Available

MotorcycleUSA Staff | January 21, 2016

Get the New Year started right with Issue 12 of MotoUSA’s digital magazine, available now. Our 2016 250F Motocross Shootout headlines the show, with six of the most popular machines in the class going head-to-head at multiple tracks around southern California. Changes to the bikes span the spectrum for the latest model year, from heavily-updated machines like the KTM SX-F and Husqvarna FC250, to the more lightly refined Yamaha YZ250F and Kawasaki KX250F. The newest Honda CRF250R and Suzuki RM-Z250 join the battle for top-dog in the class as well and the results were close, but, as always, one ride rose above the rest. Dive in to MotoUSA Issue 12 to see the results.

The dirt fun continues with an assessment of the Suzuki DR-Z70, with one of our youngest test riders to-date taking to the track and extoling the merits of the 67cc, electric start mini-bike.

For the road warrior looking for something a little different, we present a comparison of two mid-level and unconventional cruisers – the Kawasaki Vulcan S vs. Honda CTX700N. Both machines veer to the sport standard side and abandon the V-Twin tradition in exchange for Parallel Twin engines. Which one is best? You’ll have to check out MotoUSA Issue 12 to find out…

We then head across the pond for our first taste of Triumph’s latest Bonneville model, the 2016 Street Twin. It’s one of five new Bonneville models and marks the first wave of one of the biggest updates for Triumph in recent memory.

As if that weren’t enough we take a look back at 2015, handing out our annual Best Of awards, in categories ranging from Industry Leader to Motorcycle of the Year.

For more speed, be sure to check out our review of the 2016 Ducati 959 Panigale, the Italian marque’s latest attempt to find the perfect balance between power and control.

Product reviews of Arai, Harley-Davidson and IXS gear are included in Issue 12, as are entries from our Backmarker and Memorable Motorcycle contributors. This month’s Backmarker examines the loss of a huge collection of Dan Mahony’s Grand National Championship photographs while the Memorable Motorcycle column gives praise to the 1960 Triumph Bonneville.
