While Alessi enjoyed his time in Europe he’s back to be at home in the U.S.
Mike Alessi is one of the lucky few to have ridden KTM’s 350 SX-F. He’ll be racing it in the 2010 Lucas Oils AMA Motocross Championship.
Alessi looks 100% back on form after suffering a knee injury last summer that ended his Motocross racing season early.
Matt Moss raced his first race on Saturday at the Hangtown Classic after an injury sidelined his entire Supercross season.
Ryan Dungey finished 10th in Moto 1 at the opening round of AMA Motocross after a rough start.
Matt Moss made his U.S. racing debut on Saturday at Hangtown. He was unable to finish the second moto after another racer landed on him.
This was Ben Townley's first 450 national in two years. His 6-7 motos were good enough for a sixth-place overall finish.
Cole Seely spent most of Moto 1 at Hangtown in sixth until a fall forced him out of the race.
Wil Hahn had the holeshot in Moto 2 where he eventually finished sixth at Hangtown.
Wil had a bad start in the first moto but was able to fight back to 13th by the time the checkers were out.
Dungey took 10-6 in the motos at Hangtown for an overall finish of eighth.
Dean Wilson made his AMA Motocross debut at Hangtown. After going down a few times the rookie was able to finish 10th in the Moto 1.
Andrew Short had a great comeback in Moto 1 after a tough start and finished in the top-10 overall.
Chad Reed was out of the gate early and won the first moto of the 2010 season at Hangtown.
Davi Millsaps had a strong first moto at Hangtown where he finished on the podium in third.
After missing most of the supercross season due to injury, Reed was able to bounce back by taking a wire-to-wire victory in Moto 1 at Hangtown.
Pourcel picked up his first moto win of the 2010 season at Hangtown.
Nick Wey: “Today didn’t go how I thought it would. I need to get better starts and ride a little more aggressive. The bike feels good right now and I looking forward to getting to Texas for the next race.”
After missing the entire supercross season with injuries, Rattray returned to Motocross at Hangtown with an eighth-place finish in his first moto.
Ryan Morais was able to pass 14 riders in Moto 2 at Hangtown and took 14th-place.
As a result of Morais' performace at Hangtown he has been awarded the RC Hard Charger Award along with his Suzuki teammate Jake Moss.
Jake Moss advanced from 40th to 26th-place in Moto 1 at Hangtown, earning the RC Hard Charger Award as a result.

450 champion Ryan Dungey accepts his trohy along with a Rockwell watch valued at $18,000.
Trey Canard accepts the 2010 250 trophy at the Pala awards Banquet.
Mike Alessi had a difficult weekend at Freestone where he had a 12-5 result overall.
KTM's Tommy Searle had difficulties at Freestone, taking a 12-13 result after a series of mistakes and a weakened shoulder put him outside the top-10.
The 2010 Pala Raceway Awards Banquet
