The Rune proved to be a challenge for the Honda engineers who had an interesting set of requirements and full plate when it came to turn this style based concept in to a functioning bike.

Honda went all out offering high quality paint and chrome rarely seen on a production motorcycle.

The trailing link front suspension gives the illusion of the raked chopper style front suspension while maintaining its steering geometry.
Honda attempted to push the Cruiser market in a different direction with a monster power motorcycle called the Rune. Carrying a Goldwing 1832cc engine, it definitely wasn't lacking in the power department.
It may not be the most logical bike to ride but the Rune represents Honda's technical and engineering ability to turn a beast on paper in to a beauty on the street.
Pictured is the Hot-Rod T4 concept for the Honda Rune. A barebones drag racer that I’m sure a few folks would love to put down the 1/4 mile.
