Sold my '95 Ultra and bought a new (2007) Road Glide. The 96" engine was amazing and the 6 speed tranny was appropriate. Extremely comfortable ride. The only downside compared to the Ultra is that the windshiel is not quite as effective. I eventually went with a sexy looking short shield that offers a even less protection, but at least looks great. I liked the bike so much, I had the dealer convert the engine to an SE 110". I was dissapointed in the result. It was a bit faster for sure, but after $6,000 (including exhaust, oil cooler, etc.), I expected more. Should have stuck with stock with a custom exhaust, it was plenty quick. Overall, I love the bike and plan to keep it a long time.
