2007 Honda FourTrax Rancher 420 User Ratings

I own a construction company that does overhead powerline construction all over the US. I have purchased all my ATV's from Motosport Hillsboro in Hillsboro Oregon. I have owned the Honda Rancher line and Honda Foreman line since 2002. The awesome upgrade from the 350 to a 420 EFI engine was awesome!!! Much needed power on previous models has been resolved with a 91cc upgrade. The previos Rancher 350 line was actualy a 329cc and lacked power in the 4X4 units. We have experienced some back firing under deceleration on the 07' on up EFI Ranchers that can be frightening the first few times. I was a little upset when under warenty Honda did not cover the inspection cause they said that was natual with hard decel. We just pay and know it's a new product for Honda. If you add an HMF slip on exaust and and a Big Gun power programer we has purchased from ATV Cylce Sports in Las Vegas Nv it does cure alot of the minor jerking and backfiring.It also remaps the fuel and air to increase the powerband an low end tourq seemed to increase after the instalation. I do sugest instaling HID balast and bulbs if doing alot of night riding. I will keep Honda as our ATV of choice.
