Great bike! Have over 40,000 miles commuting back and forth to work. Ride rain or shine. I have changed the oil every 8,000 mi, tires when needed, front brakes about every 8000 mi, and brake fluid after 30,000 mi. Never needed a tune-up or valve adjustment. Runs great and gets about 50mpg. Saves me about $100 per week in gas and toll road charges. No gas gauge but 2 trip odometers. The bike will go about 135 miles without reserve, 150+ with reserve. Better and more accurate than a gas gauge. I agree with Bucky about the 6th gear. All this and the bike looks good too!!!

It drives really smooth. It has great gas mileage and it will go fast enough to kill ya. It is not that heavy and a great first bike. Wish it had a 6th gear though.

After riding sport bikes all my life, I decided I wanted something for long trips for ease and comfort. I purchased this 2007 Honda Shadow Aero VT750. This bike provides comfort, it is reliable, and to my surprise, it has a lot of power. I have some upgrades that make it even better with a hypercharger and cobra exhaust. This has given some added HP as well as it looks and sounds awsome! The price is right and you get more than your monies worth in this one.
