People brought a variety of off-roading machines to the festival which made for a real assault on the ears.
The festival included a sand motocross race for little kids.
DuneFest 2010 was complete with sand drags, show and shines, freestyle MX, poker runs and late night concerts.
While the festival was jam-packed during the first few days, the crowds dwindled by the final day.
With thousands of OHV entusiasts in attendance there was no patch of sand left untouched.
Fun-movers, diesel trucks, motorhomes and even a school bus littered the many campsites around the dunes.
One of the best parts of the 72-hour festival was the scenery offered at Winchester Bay Dunes.
With over 10,000 people in attendance, DuneFest was crammed with people who were sand camping and soaking up the Oregon experience.
A pair of dozers smoothed over the sand after every three or four passes so that competitors had a clean start.
