hi just wanted to say i bought a brand new 2007 fxst softail standard a few years ago and am very happy with it! 1st off it runs excellent! the fuel injected motor starts touch of the button and runs perfect! its very smooth but yet powerfull? it handles and rides very easy! its very comfortable and im 6'4 280lbs! i just love everything about it! the tranny was a little loud when goin from neutral to 1st but it shifts very nice! and its been the most reliable bike ive ever owned so far? i havent had a single problem with it yet? i got over 8,000 miles on it so im gonna put a new tire on the rear and change all the fluids again1 i run amsoil full synthetic with a amsoil replacement air filter and i put some vance & hines Big-Radious pipes on it and thats it? it runs excellent! i really love this bike and am 100% happy with it! thanks-Bruce
