This is my 2nd FJR (1st was an '03). The bike is much improved over the pre-2006 models, particularly the heat issues. The "auto-clutch" can be a little tricky to figure out (you can use the foot shift), but once mastered, it's just fine. Bike handles great, goes like a scalded`cat and gets good mileage. Toss out the stock windshield for a taller, wider one. Bars are too low, but a 1 inch Gen-Mar riser does the job. Throttle is too stiff so a throttle lock or Cramp-Buster is a neccessity on long rides.
