Dainese "Legends" Digital Magazine
Friday, October 12, 2012
To commemorate their 40th anniversary year, Dainese put together four online magazines to showcase the people, events and products that have made the brand a success over the years. The series is entitled “Legends” and each installment focuses on major sports figures from a particular decade. In Issue 1
, highlighting the 1970’s, Giacomo Agostini took center-stage alongside Barry Sheene, Dieter Braun and others outside the world of motorcycle racing such as Muhammad Ali and Johan Cruyff as representative sporting legends of the decade. Each issue also features personages within the motorcycling world today, and in Issue 1 Ducati’s Nicky Hayden
sat down for an in-depth interview. Eddie Lawson heads-up Issue 2
on the 1980s and Isle of Man TT racer Conner Cummins chats with editors about his life on two wheels.
, (recently released with cover art featured below), on the 1990s gives Carl Fogarty and Kevin Schwantz room to recount their careers in motorcycle racing and then goes on to profile the legendary Southern California racing circuit, Laguna Seca.
The “Legends” digital magazine series has something for everyone, a little history here, a little contemporary insight there mixed in with plenty of eye-catching original art and stories from outside the world of motorcycle racing that back up Dainese’s claim that “Legends die hard. They survive as truth rarely does.”
