I purchased a 2008 Vento V-Thunder XL for my wife, and it's been a great little bike for her to learn on. The biggest concern I have is not with the bike itself, but the dealer support. The dealer decided to close shop, so I started trying to deal with Vento directly. Then Vento, after two months of trying to get some parts (one of the horn covers was broken when I purchased the bike, should have been an easy warranty repair) tells me that my "dealer" hasn't closed. in fact, the dealer had JUST sent my warranty parts request to Vento.
Other than the little stuff, this bike has been VERY dependable. I just wish there were more Vento dealers around to take care of the service and warranty issues. Vento's website needs updated as well, and they need to include the owner's manual online. I got one on the bike, but I can't seem to find one online.
