2008 Suzuki
C109R
MSRP $14,999
Suzuki had the 'big' picture in mind while creating the 2008 Suzuki C109R, a package that includes a big engine, tank, bars, fenders and tires. In developing the C109R's powerplant, it would have been easy for Suzuki to adopt the engine established in its popular M109R power cruiser. But it was looking for a little more pop down low. To achieve its goal, it altered its crankshaft for a claimed 15% increase in crank inertia that boosts power low in the rpm range.

After riding and racing sports bikes and dabbling in dirtys for over 20yrs, I thought it time for a change of pace. Not sure how the whole feet forward bit was going to work. It took me a few days to get comfortable with the change and the linked brakes but now I'm hooked. That engine is like a drug, bugger the fuel economy, how high a gear will this thing pull from? Relaxed RPM at cruising speed, ample tourqe to overtake and comfortable riding position all day. Love the styling, love the bike. Well done Suzuki. For a cruiser this is as good as your sports bikes.

I'm 6'4" 235lbs. and didn't want to look like some of the big guy you see on the so call big bikes.(If they only knew how silly they look)When I saw the C109R I BOUGHT IT ON THE SPOT.This bike runs like a dream and after adding a few accessories it's looks like a dream. This thing flat out runs down the road.Even the HD boys jaws get a little tight at the preformance and especialy when they find out the cost.
