After a 20 + year lay off due to family, I have returned to riding. My previous bikes had all been Japanese machines due to cost factors. I purchased the 2008 FLHX in June of 2008 and promptly took off to the ROT rally in Texas from Denver, NC. (after break in miles and maintenance) We rode 2 up from Denver NC, to Pensacola FL then to New Orleans, then to Houston. Here we met up with friends and rode to Austin. The bike performed flawlessly. We did replace the seat with one of the nicer seats from H-D before leaving from NC. The bike performed well round trip. In September of 2009 we rode 2 up across the country to see our son in 29 Palms, CA. Again the bike performed flawlessly. I have been truly impressed with the performance and reliability of this Harley and highly recommend it to all my friends. So far I have about 35,000 on it with no issues. Nice job H-D.
