I have had this bike for about a year now. I love it! I t is very comfortable and easy to handle. I have ridden bikes for about 20 years now and really enjoy this one. I re-jetted the carbs and added V&H exhaust and a new intake and it made it a lot more fun to drive. It does OK on the highway but is at home in the country. I would like to have a bigger engine but it is awesome for a 650.

I love my V-Star Classic. It's a pretty big bike (the wheelbase is a little longer than a Harley Road King) without being too heavy. I have always liked the traditional look of a bike with full classic fenders and this is one of the few left that carry that styling. Styling wise, think of it as a little longer, a little leaner Fat Boy. I have found it a comfortable bike for the riding I do. Most of my trips are in the 200-300 mile a day range. I have never enjoyed riding the interstates, but the V-Star will do it. But it's at it best on the country road cruising I enjoy the most.
