This is my second street bike and my 1st sport-touring bike. It has captured my heart like no other bike before. The only way to make it better would be to make it a little less sport oriented and more touring oriented. Other than that it's an amazing bike.

First, the only complaints...781cc...It really needs to be a 1000cc bike. With the fantastick factory luggage loaded and a passenger, the engine torque is lacking, requiring clutch slippage and making take off from a stop more difficult than it should be. Also, the horn is far to wimpy
Everything else about the bike is very good. There is plenty of horsepower up the rev range to move along with pure sport bikes, while the Interseptor is much smoother and more comfortable than any of them. The transmission is the best! I have ridden several VFRs and they are all very good. You can ride for hours while the others are massaging thier wrists and needing a break. Finish is a cut above the other Asian offerings. This is an excellent bike for a mature sport rider.
