Video: John McGuinness Talks Thru a TT Lap

Honda TT Legends has released a video featuring its star rider, John McGuinness, describing a lap of the
Isle of Man TT circuit. The King of the Mountain celebrated TT wins 18 and 19 at the Isle of Man this year, snagging the
opening Superbike race win and his
first ever Superstock TT victory. The Englishman’s chance for a full score of TT wins was only thwarted by the fickle weather, which cancelled the Senior TT. In the video, McGuinness talks viewers through a lap of the 37.75 miles of public roads that are the famed Mountain Course. So how close do spectators get to the action? Close enough, that to McGuinness’ chagrin, he can smell the roadside barbeque and see pub revelers hoisting pints as he parades past at 160-plus mph trying not to kill himself.
