YZF-R6
MSRP $10,090
Designed to be ridden on the track, the 15,000-rpm fuel-injected inline-Four produces massive pull across a wider band. The redesigned frame and swingarm have been outfitted with new suspension components for improved handling and the taut chassis that lets it snap from upright to full lean instantly. This is one of the most race-ready 600s on the market.

An absolute razor, though a little twitchy in the handling. Peaky, revvy engine with a great slipper clutch. Very reliable so far (10,000 miles on the odometer). Uncomfortable as can be, though. Glad I bought it, but ergonomics will play a larger role in my next bike purchase in a few years.

I have been riding for 23 years - had loads of bikes - mostly sportsbikes - this is my 3rd R6 - just love the look, feel and sound of the thing. I also believe that it has the best build quality out there. I live in a rural area with lots of flowing twisty rural roads. Keep the revs up and ride hard but smooth and the bike is great fun. I also find it to be pretty comfortable. It is more fun thrashing a 600 on the road than a 1000. I do not believe anyone who says they can fully enjoy a 1000 sportsbike on public roads

Bike is extremely confortable on those long rides. The ergonomics put the rider very foward, which many riders may not like, but you still feel like you have control and this eliminateds stress on your hips and legs. Could use a little more low end power, but once you hit between 7 and 10 rpms this bike rips. also the best stock exhaust in its class, awesome sound and the moto gp look bone stock. Very satisfied with my purchase! Its a real head turner!
