2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom User Ratings

This cruiser is a great ride but there are a couple of things that should be mentioned. The stock seat is terrible, to put it bluntly. It was the limiting factor for me on ride distance so I upgraded to a Mustang seat, solving that problem. The second thing I would mention is the gearing/transmission is a bit low for freeway travel. It will run at freeway speeds but it seems like a sixth gear or a bit taller forth and fifth would be nice. Having said that, I don't regret buying this bike and plan on enjoying it for a few years. There are bigger and faster bikes if you want to spend more, but I don't think you can beat the value for price for the Vulcan 900 Custom.
