When the all-new CBR1000RR debuted last year, it represented the pinnacle of literbike performance. It was simply the best, most innovative open-class sportbike we'd ever built. The CBR1000RR is still the lightest, most compact, and best performing motorcycle in its class, and this year it gets even better.

I recently traded my 06 CBR1000RR for the new 09 CBR. I once owned a 600CBR which I really missed due to its nimbleness. The new 09 offers both. The acceleration still scares me and its just as quick as a 600. Also, 2nd gear power wheeles are a breeze due to it midrange power. This bike is everthing i could ask for even though the front end may be alittle ugly. But, its perfomance overall will make that all disapear.

I just bought this bike this weekend and it is everything I had hoped it would be. I came off cruisers a few years ago and started out my sprot bike journey with a Katana. I was looking for the perfect all around sport bike that was stupid fast and could deliver great handling and performance. And I found it, I could not be happier! The slipper clutch on this bike rocks and slows the bike without any jerking like the old engine brakes. The front brake is so responsive, I had this bike to 112 and realized I had a stop sign about 3/4 of a mile away and had to brake pretty hard, the bike responded with amazing ease, no jerking, no loss of control. I am a girl and can ride this bike with great agility and control. Would recommend to anyone who wants to be comfortable and have a blast on a worthwhile machine.

this bike is light nimble fast everything you could ask for. It rides and feels like a 600 until you twist that throttle then it's hold on for dear life. It's a rocketship on 2 wheels. The only bad thing about this bike is that stupid looking pipe that's why I have a two brothers full system. Other than that it's all the bike that you ever need. To make it clear it's just simply amazing.
