Twisties? Touring? Gravel roads? It hardly matters because to the R1200GS, the most versatile machine in the 2008 GS lineup. This year, a 5% increase in power raises its output to 105 ponies for even quicker acceleration. Handling is agile and precise thanks to a Telelever suspension system, and with Enduro ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) you can adjust both front and rear suspensions between Sport, Normal, Comfort, and Off-road settings. The result? A bike that thrashes every road you throw at it and begs for more.

Review
Excellent bike that does everything well. Gives the rider a lot of confidence in the twisties. I currently have logged 12000 miles on the bike. Replaced the rear tire at 8000. Front tire needs replacing. Much of my riding has been two up so have rarely used it off road, Reliability has been excellent. It is a tall bike which makes it a bit of a challenge for the passenger to climb on-board. I'm over 6 feet tall so prefer the seat in the highest position.
