I love my 2009 Vulcan Nomad. I had a 2004 Honda Goldwing and sold it in 2009. Loved the bike but we needed to have a change. After 2 days without a bike my wife and I tried a new Nomad and found out from my wife that she liked it more than the Goldwing. I to have found this bike to be one of the better bikes I've owned over my 37 years of riding. The transmission is a little loud going from 1st into 2nd and it's got a bit of a whine when riding at low speeds. Other than these two concerns it's a great bike. We find ourselfs riding more than we ever did on the Goldwing. Keep up the great work Kawasaki, you have a winner in the 1700 Vulcan Nomad. Yours truly. David Pawlitzki
