I purchased my bike on 6/18 this year. I chose Honda from past experience with on and off road bikes. She had 467 miles on it and sold as a Certified Honda. Not a single blemish. Showroom new in perfect condition. Never dropped. One owner, male, beginner rider. Got comfortable and he traded for a bigger, stronger bike. Dealership wanted it out of inventory, so they put it on "internet only" clearance price. I dropped a large down payment. Bike sold for $2,350. She now has 720 miles and is just getting broke in well. Power when I need it, GREAT on gas, The Rebel has always been Honda's icon for providing a smaller, lighter, easy to ride motorcycle for decades now and it just keeps looking fantastic and improves every couple of years as it incorporates latest technology. Like 80-90 mpg, faster, more power without wasting fuel. She's not a touring bike, cruising at an average of 60-65 is her sweet spot. RPM's run a little high, but she has been designed to deal with the heat and higher revs so there's no worry about the reliability of the engine. Paint is a very good quality. The only thing that HAS to change is the location of the front turn signals. If dropped at very slow speed or at a stop, the turn signal will put a dimple in the front corner of the gas tank. How big depends on hard she goes over. Best to start looking for signal relocation options before the tank gets dimples that aren't cute at all. Overall, she's very dependable, classic looks, perfect for short rides, and getting around town, city roads with less traffic make the best roads for this special bike. Keep up with maintenance and she will not let you down. Happy Biking!

The Honda Rebel 250cc cruiser is the perfect bike for the beginning rider. I purchased the bike for my birthday and ordered a sissy bar, saddle bags and supports. All were easy to install on the bike. Functions are easy to reach. Shifting gears is simple although a harder toe shoe is recommended. You can shift without using the clutch, but the bike has a noticeable jump when done this way. I use the bike regularly on the turnpike putting 50 miles a day on it. Have to fill up every 3 days. Very child friendly especially when sissy bar is attached. My five year old rides regularly. I highly recommend this bike for the beginning enthusiast as well as the experienced rider wanting to go for a little bit slower ride.
