2009 Triumph
Thruxton
MSRP $8,599
When you are named after the legendary Thruxton racers of the 60’s that inspired so many of the Café racers of the time, there’s a lot to live up to. Hence the authentic styling that looks fast even when standing still. Low rise bars, a sporting riding position, spoked wheels, megaphone style silencers and a race inspired stripe from tank to tail would be enough for some, but not the Triumph Thruxton.

Looks great, works well on the road and with after-market pipes sounds wounderful. As I have only had it for a week (a 1 year old model) can only go by what the previous owner said about reliability. Longer distances may be a pain but for weekend fun you can't beat it.

I only road my freind bike so I could not give it a good rating on Reliability. I am sure it a lot better then a Bike from the 60's, This is what the bike reminds me of, It took me to a place of me cildhood .While it did not hanle like any new port bike, my back didn't hurt after riding and it was fun to ride. That ois what a motorcycle sould be FUN.
