Excellent bike. And it is a bike more than scooter; it is a super scooter the is really sport bike in a scooter cloaked configuration.
The Burgman 650 Exec is Fast, quiet, smooth, economical and easy to ride! The CVT transmission is unbelievable! I tried shifting with paddle shifters in manual mode but the Auto mode does it better. Power mode is there if you really need some extra. Manual mode is fun for a while but why bother? Power mode is seldom needed and I find it is better for maintaining low speed and in hard cornering and twisty roads.
Brakes are great, ABS works well and you seldom notice it is there. Ride and braking are very stable and it corners with some of the sport bikes.
Ergonomics are great with Digital dash, glove boxes and plenty of storage under the seat. Power folding mirrors and power adjustable windshield are nice features.
Cannot say too much about the Burgman 650 Exec, it is just so nice to ride. It is a Hot rod with just one aboard and smooth cruiser with two aboard.
I have had a number of bikes starting with a old Honda 90s, Norton 750 Atlas, Suzuki trail 185, then a 360 Honda, then a Honda 500 and then later a Suzuki VS 800 Intruder and then a I Big bad VS 1400 Intruder Twin.
This Burgman was the best move I ever made in motorcycling. It is so much more fun to ride than any of the others. It is a good example of technology well applied and offers a unique experience that would make moving back to a conventional motorcycle hard to do.
