The water cooled Bandit offers the same value and reliability as its air-cooled predecessor. Straight Line & Twisty performance for all street situations is over-the-top for most riders, with fuel mileage between 36 & 48 MPG depending on how far the throttle is twisted.
Suspension component life is very short for an agreesive rider. Plan on replacing Rear Shock after 15,000 miles, and some work on the front forks as early as 12,000 miles.
Horsepower can be bumped to 140 hp very economically, and with suspension work makes the Bandit performance very competative with Sport Bikes costing many thousands more.
