This the first ATV that I have owned. I have had my 2009 Honda Foreman for 6 months now and already I am wishing that I would have did a little more research before buying. I have learned that Honda ATV's are not friends of cold weather. The electric starter on my 2009 Foreman works when it wants to. Squeaky noise coming from the front or rear brake area when cruising below 10 mph- not yet determined origin or reason why its making this sound. The lack of good suspension has caused me a mildly sprained wrist. I have come to realize that Honda is a tad bit overpriced for what it has to offer (you really pay more for the name, which is premium if you are talking cars or motor cyles)
On the plus side, the pull start is 100 for 100 in each attempted use. I am a bit partial to the Honda body style; looks good, built tough. (lesson learned: everything that looks good, isn't always good for you.)
I am not totally thrown off by my first Honda ATV experience. I hope that Honda is taking notes and making effort to improve its future (near future) atv line-up. I own a Honda automobile; presently I have 145000 miles on the odometer, no mechanical problems and I would trust driving it to California and back right now.
Would I buy another Honda ATV in the future.............. there is a 51 percent chance that I would strongly consider it. Do your research before buying.
