Just picked up the motorcycle a week ago; great choice. The bike handles great. The new chassis is much stiffer than the S4RS. Not to take away anything from the S4RS; this is a great bike also with a super engine. The M1100S is a blast to ride. It gobbles up the back roads with ease. Just point and shoot and the bike pulls you through the turns with ease and precision. The tech for the bike is awesome. The LCD screen provides a wealth of information; RPMs, speedo, lap timer and clock. I can't wait to put it on the track. My M1100S came with the Termi exhaust and ECU installed. The exhaust note is sweet and crisp. The power is smooth. Even though the bike is air cooled, the temp gauge never hovered above 4 bars during city stop and go traffic. So far I am totally satisfied with the motorcycle.
Well, it's time for me to get back on the bike. I can't seem to get enough. I've already put over one thousand miles on it in a week. Before the end of the summer I may have enough miles to send it to the dealer for the second service. Thats a lot to say; because I have only put 5900 miles on my S4RS since 2007 which has not been in for its' second service.
