Motorcycle Jacket/Backpack Concept Video

A motorcycle jacket that turns into a backpack? It’s an interesting concept, and the guys that came up with it are looking to raise 10K in capital to develop their prototype at Fundable. Check it out in the press release posted below, along with the video embedded via Vimeo.
Taking your motorcycle out on a ride is great – until it’s time to dismount. Suddenly, you are stuck lugging your riding gear around while everyone else is having fun and enjoying the freedom afforded by leaving their belongings in their vehicle. Carrying a helmet, riding jacket, and whatever else is a handful to say the least.
The Alomar jacket by Twist and Lockwear eliminates the burden by transforming in seconds into a fully functional backpack to carry helmets, riding gear, and possessions. Now, riders can now effectively transport more of their stuff than ever before, and do so while keeping their hands completely free.
The first multifunctional jacket of its kind, the Alomar combines its storage capabilities with the functions of ordinary jackets by incorporating CCA approved removable shoulder, elbow, and spleen guards, front and rear reflectors, adjustable drawstrings, and a fashionable design. Weighing only approximately four pounds and made from water resistant 600 Denier Polyester Nylon, it can be used in all weather conditions.
The Alomar is being launched on the crowdfunding platform Fundable.com in order to raise the funds necessary to move into production. A successful fundraise will put the Alomar onto the market and immediately make the lives of motorcyclists much easier.
Buying a separate jacket and backpack will no longer be necessary, as the Alomar can be used even while worn as a jacket to carry important gear such as your tablet, laptop, or anything else that can lay flat against your back.
Created by bikers for bikers, the Alomar is the solution motorcyclists have been waiting for.
