On Any Sunday: The Next Chapter Trailer

Thursday, May 15, 2014
Bruce Brown’s 1971 classic “On Any Sunday” is a must watch movie for anyone with even the slightest interest in motorcycles. It helped spawn a generation of riders, made the likes of Mert Lawwill and Malcolm Smith household names and further cemented Steve McQueen’s place in American motorcycle lore. A later version, “On Any Sunday II” was released in 1981 and trailed riders like Bruce Penhall and Bob Hannah. In 2000 Bruce Brown and his son Dana teamed up to create “On Any Sunday Revisited,” which featured unseen footage from the original documentary as well as interviews with the original riders nearly 30 years on. In 2010 Dana Brown began shooting footage for an all new installment in the series. There’s no indication yet when it will be released, but there’s now a trailer for the film available, included below. Called “On Any Sunday: The Next Chapter” it includes the likes of James Stewart, Roland Sands, Kenny Roberts, Marc Marquez and many others who embody the living spirit of motorcycling today. Check it out, it’s going to be an amazing flick.
