This is my first FLHTC and I have been riding HDs for over 30 years. I am very comfortable on this bike, it's very responsive and I've put behind miles of road without any issues. The seat dimensions are excellent ( 2010 stock 'LOW' seat). My wife loves the bike and feel of the passenger seat when riding 2 up. Plenty of storage space and I didn't change over to a removable tour pack because I use the pack all the time. The only drawback for me was the handle bar placement. I need to upgrade to a handle bar that fits my body size and resulted in my downgrade on the ergonomics assessment.

Compared to my 2001 Electraglide Classic this is a truly amazing machine. It feels significantly more powerful, and the acceleration is smooth. The electronic throttle is very responsive and smooth as well. The stock exhaust is slightly louder, and it has a nice throaty sound. Mine has anti-lock brakes which is an option I highly recommend. It stops on a dime, and I cannot lock up the wheels even if I try. The ride is much more stable. I don't know what they did to the frame and suspension, but I highly approve. The transmission is a little hard to get into neutral when sitting still, but seems to be getting better as I put more miles on it. The forward engine guard was damaged, and I am a little disappointed the the defects were not caught somewhere between the factory and the dealership. The replacement part was also defective, but I finally have a good one installed at no cost to me. Overall, this is an excellent touring bike, and I cannot wait to take it on a long ride.
