They did the right thing. Side cover and latch was fixed bike runs like new!

Took my bike in for Regulator/Rectifier replacement and it was returned with the Seat Bolts missing, the chrome side cover missing and missing catch on the tool box compartment.

I have been looking for a rear trunk spoiler for my 2001 Honda Goldwing. For the last couple of years I have inquired at a half dozen dealers to see if they had one available. I was on my vacation riding throughout the Northeast when I passed by Southern Tier Honda. I turned around and went inside and inquired about this part. I was told that it was not a stocking item, but they would be glad to order it for me. I said no other dealer I've checked with has had any luck, but go ahead and try. They said they knew how to obtain hard to find parts. Within a few mintues they said there was one left in the country and they would be glad to order it and send it onto my home in South Carolina. I said I'll take it! I have been looking for this part for two years. A couple of days later I received a phone call to inform me they had received the part at the dealership and inspected to make sure it was new, original and in mint condition. They would package the Honda box in a bigger box to make sure nothing happened and send it to my home. I recevied the part in great condition and made my day! Many thanks to Jeff and Jared for thier professional help in locating my impossible to find part!

These guys were great !!!. . . .We were traveling the Finger Lake's region on vacation when my motorcycle suddenly refused to start.. I called and talked to Gary. Without hesitation he said he would send someone to Watkins Glen to pick up the motorcycle, check it out and do what it took to get me back on the road as soon as possible ~ and that is exactly what he did. As I suspected would be the case, a part had to be ordered (a new starter switch). He had it over-nighted and said he would stay until the bike was fixed if it did not come in until late afternoon. Fortunately, it came in early the next morning ~ he replaced the switchas soon as it came in and I was back to riding that afternoon. I could hot have asked for better service ~ everyone in the shop was very friendly and helpful.

I had my Honda Goldwing brought into Southern Tier Honda to have a wiring issue diagnosed. I spoke with Gary and Jeff (the owners)who were both very friendly and helpful. Once the bike was in the shop, I decided to go ahead and have some other work done on the bike. I asked them if they can change my tire and give my bike a detail. They said that they would be happy to service my bike. Before I gave the go ahead, I specifically asked if they accept credit card and both Gary and Jeff both told me that they accept all credit cards. After the work began, Jered called me and asked me if I would consider selling my motorcycle to them for $3200 and they wont charge me for the work done on the bike. I told him that the bike is worth $5500 and I definitely don’t want to sell the bike to them, I just brought it in for service. When the work was complete, they called for payment of $800. I sent them my credit card info and they responded that they need a postal money order! I asked why they changed the policy and they acknowledged that they did tell me they take credit card but they changed their mind because they “have been burned in the past and don’t feel comfortable accepting credit card” I don’t know what their motive is, maybe they don’t want to pay the fee or maybe they want me to sell them the bike for the ridiculously low price of $3200 and they want to make it difficult for me because I rejected their offer but whatever the reason is, I spoke to Jeff on the phone today, he was very rude and told me he has my bike and “he can do whatever he wants to do”. Right now they are holding my bike hostage until I mail them a postal money order. The whole reason that I wanted to pay with Credit card in the first place, is that I am planning on selling my bike and I wanted to use my credit card to carry this expense until I sell it and use that money to pay my credit card. STAY AWAY!!!
