My buddy and I bought identical bikes at the same time and we know and play with 6 other cat owners. All of these cats have a habit of getting snuffed out in the water which is very annoying. My buddy's bike has started to smoke badly with a total of 600 miles on this unit. The repair shop says the rings were not properly sized from the factory. They called cat and their answer was - " too bad the warranty is up ". $1100 rebuild at 600 miles NICE !!! My bike is going in to have the rings checked to see if there is anything out of wack before any major damage occurs. Is this an isolated problem, why would cat hide behind a lapsed warranty ?
