Ryan Villopoto took the win in Moto 2 and commanded the pace for much of the day.

Mike Alessi led the first two laps in Moto 1 and the first four laps in Moto 2. It's only a matter of time before the KTM rider develops staying power.

Kevin Windham went 4-4-4 in his final ride for factory Honda.

Kawasaki's Dean Wilson ran away in Moto 1 after getting a terrific holeshot.

Geico Honda's Justin Barcia finished third overall with 6-2 moto scores as the top Honda rider.

Tyla Rattray did what he had to by winning the overall victory at Budds Creek. He cleared another two points on championship rival and teammate, Dean Wilson.

Darryn Durham continued to impress and looked to be a top contender again this weekend. He crashed out of Moto 1 and finished eighth in Moto 2.

KTM's Mike Alessi (#800) held the lead in Moto 2 until Chad Reed (#22) made a pass on Lap 5.

TwoTwo Motorsports' Chad Reed didn't have enough steam to outrun the two Ryans in Moto 1, but he returned strong in the afternoon for the win.

Geico Honda's Justin Barcia snagged the runner-up spot in Moto 2, finishing third overall at Budds Creek.

Kawasaki's Blake Baggett ran off the track and stalled his bike in the first moto, eventually finishing in seventh.

Blake Baggett (#57) had a great start in the second moto, but his lead was erased after he went over the bars and got up in 39th place.

Ryan Dungey: "It was another good, solid weekend. We got off to really good starts on my RM-Z today and I was able to get second in both motos. I lost some time in the beginning of the first moto, but I was able to make that up and get up there and almost get the win. I got another good start in the second moto and got up into second and battled for the number one position for the rest of the moto but just couldn't make the pass. It was tough."

Tyla Rattray: "I know that championships are often won with consistency and that has been my main goal from the start. It was great to get a win for my wife and my daughter on father’s day weekend. Each week, I’m just going out, trying my best, and I know I can finish strong. We’ll see how next week goes in the altitude.”

Kawasaki's Dean Wilson (#15) landed an excellent start in the first race.

DNA Shred Stix Star Racing Yamaha's Kyle Cunningham battled with Wilson early on in Moto 1, eventually finishing fourth.

Ryan Dungey: "The track was really one-lined. Overall, my Rockstar Makita Suzuki felt great and we were solid throughout the day. We just gotta keep moving forward and plugging away."

Darryn Durham had another good ride in the final moto of the day where he finished eighth.

After a long layoff Honda's Josh Grant returned at Budds Creek to post 8-10 moto scores for 10th overall.

Brett Metcalfe: "It was a pretty positive day for me. I went six-six for sixth overall and there were some positives and negatives, but overall I felt pretty good. The negative side of the day was bad starts in both motos."

Kawasaki's Tyla Rattray has yet to finish off the podium and currently leads the 250 championship by four points.

Broc Tickle: "It was a pretty good day overall with the podium in the first moto. I’m definitely getting my confidence back and know I can ride at the front. I wasn’t feeling that great all week so I took a few days off from riding and it seemed to do me a lot of good. I am excited to get back where I know I should be.”

Jake Weimer: "Each weekend I’m feeling better and better. This weekend wasn’t how I wanted to finish, but it is a tough track and I need to work on a few things for next week at Thunder Valley.”

Kevin Windham competed in his last MX event of 2011 at Budds Creek, finishing fourth overall.
