The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R has a powerful 1,441cc inline-four engine with Slipper clutch assembly that controls the rear-wheel torque effects while braking and downshifting. The revised suspension settings on the front and rear add improved wheel control. The exhaust system features narrowed head pipes, a catalyzer and a competent muffler assembly for low noise and emissions. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R has a KTRC traction-control system which features three different modes for fluctuating conditions and is measured by a switch assembly on the handlebar.
