Tee - concerned about the exposed drive belt.  January 25, 2010 05:11 PM
i wish yamaha should do something to properly "sealed or covered the drive belt" from any possible flying small rocks or debris that might get caught in between the drive belt and the sprocket. if a rock get's caught in between the drive belt and the sprocket, there is possibility of breaking or damaging the drive belt, which could result in an accident while riding. i am a bit concerned about the exposed drive belt. i think the sealed shaft are much safer from flying rocks, debris, and mud .

i wish yamaha should make the "belt drive more covered or sealed" from flying rocks or debris that might get caught in between the belt drive. if there is a "small rock" that gets caught in between the drive belt and the sprocket, that could possibly break or damage the drive belt which could result in possible accident.
