Dirico Bagger Tour of New Hampshire's Covered Bridges Photo Gallery

Covered bridges have a rich history in New England states. We went on a quest for the best during our recent visit to New Hampshire for the Laconia Motorcycle Rally.

The postcard-perfect beauty of the Blair Bridge, which spans the Pemigewasset River.

I know she's a cow, but who am I to judge. This plucky Holstein was outside The Country Cow Restaurant and Bar next to the Blair Bridge.

Dirico Motorcycles was kind enough to hook us up with its prototype bagger to ride around New Hampshire on.

This sign tempted us to do a nasty burnout at the entrance to the bridge. Luckily, we didn't because a group of about 30 NH patrolmen had been watching us doing photo passes as they sat having lunch at the restaurant next door.

The small rounded air cleaner and slotted heat shields on the exhaust are two of our favorite features on Dirico's bagger.

The Dirico prototype bagger has plenty of touring essentials, from a tall, removable windscreem to cruising lights to leather saddlebags and floorboards.

We thought the hinge on the back fender may have been to make servicing the rear easier but later learned it is purely cosmetic.

Riding through the quaint New England towns and villages on the Dirico bagger was a blast.
