Ducati sportbikes carry on the storied racing tradition of the Italian marque. The Ducati superbike, now the 1198 and 1098R racer, contine the dominance of the 1098 and 999 in road-racing series - most notably the World Superbike Championship. The L-Twin motors are also used in the 848 supersport. Meanwhile, the Desmosedici RR is a limited-edition MotoGP replica using the V-Four from its GP predecessor.
