During its mammoth Adventure Touring Shootout MotoUSA cruised into Big Sky, Montana to catch a round of the 2011 Western Hare Scramble Championship.

MotoUSA's crew scouted the prime vantages to watch the Big Sky XC.

How close can spectators get to the action at Big Sky? How about chatting with the competitors during the race. This fellow spoke things over during a breather on the rock climb.

The Big Sky XC is three hours long, unless riders get past the finish line before the three hour mark and get to run another exhausting lap.

The rock climb at the Big Sky XC provided hours of entertainment for the spectators that made the hike up the mountain.
