Nick Anglada, President and Owner of Custom Sportbike Concepts, launched his new premium brand, Nick Anglada Originals, at the 2009 Dealer Expo in Indianapolis.

"Nick Anglada Originals is the evolution of my style of customization," explained Anglada. "Since 1998 I have been designing and building custom sportbikes under the Custom Sportbike Concepts brand. Through considerable global media attention on my work my name has become synonymous with innovation and quality. I am now leveraging my reputation to create a premium brand targeting high profile builds and customers."

Whereas Custom Sportbike Concepts focused primarily on high performance motorcycles, Nick Anglada Originals will have a broader focus, encompassing a variety of metric and V-Twin brands.

"Most people know me for my work with sportbikes," noted Anglada. "But I have worked within a variety of motorcycle genres. Nick Anglada Originals is not about the genre - it's about the creative process. It's about bringing together incredible aesthetics with uncompromising performance to create a one of a kind motorcycle that will set the rider apart from every other motorcycle enthusiast he or she meets on the road."

The emphasis on blending forward thinking design with maximum performance is a philosophy Anglada has employed time and again to create ground breaking custom sportbike designs. Anglada has over 16 magazine covers worldwide, strong television coverage through shows such as Speed's Superbikes, and has worked on high profile projects with top manufacturers and brands including Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Famous Stars and Straps and LRG.

"My work with well known sports stars and celebrities is the foundation upon which we are building Nick Anglada Originals," noted Anglada.

Anglada was commissioned by Ted Smith of the world famous Rat's Hole to build the 2007 'Track Rat.'
Integral to the launch of the new brand is Anglada's relationship with key manufacturers. "Currently the custom sportbike market is flooded with cheap, poorly made products. I refuse to take part in that. I am forming strategic alliances with manufacturers whose products I respect and who place the same emphasis on quality and functionality as Nick Anglada Originals. These are the only parts that I will use."

Leo Vince USA is one company with whom Anglada has forged a partnership. "I have been using Leo Vince exhausts exclusively on my builds over the past year, and I was impressed with their craftsmanship, fabrication and design. Forming an alliance with Leo Vince exhaust was a very natural fit for us," Noted Anglada.

Nick Anglada Originals will shortly disclose their first major project with a well known charity and sports star.
