Sleds, schmeds… Santa Claus now rides a Can-Am Spyder, just look at the photos. The fat, jolly man took the three-wheeled bike for a spin about Manhattan to drop off some toys – all with a full-face helmet. We received this explanation, along with the pictures, yesterday:
Santa and a couple elves took in the Big Apple sights aboard some Can-Am Spyders on December, 1.
This morning, Santa and two of his elves kicked off the holiday season when they toured Manhattan on their new sleighs. They also took time to spread holiday cheer at iconic landmarks around New York City, such as Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, FAO Schwartz and more!
At these landmarks, Santa posed for photos and handed out holiday treats to ensure that everyone received some holiday cheer. Santa also made a pit stop at Radio City Music Hall to see the World Famous Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes. But the main reason Santa was in town early was to make a very important delivery – he dropped off toys for the ‘Marine Toys for Tots’ toy drive at Babies “R” Us in Union Square.
All in all – it was a great day that also allowed Santa to try out his new sled: The Can-Am Spyder
roadster. The three-wheel roadster offers Santa a completely new and stunning look for his big night. The Spyder gives Santa the perfect balance between performance and piece of mind – making sure he can deliver all his gifts in time, and return safe and sound back to the North Pole and Mrs. Claus.
When you think about it, the Spyder is a perfect fit for St. Nick. After a couple centuries of jumping down chimneys the old man’s knees have to be shot. No word yet on how the reindeer feel about the new arrangement. - ed
