Black visors aren't street legal in europe but Sunwise ChromaFusion is capable of adapting perfectly between medium to strong sunlight, and its polarised lens increases clarity in shadows.
Sunwise Sunglasses is sponsoring the Thundersprint Cavalcade for 2009, and every racer in The Thundersprint will get a complimentary pair of Sunwise Windrush sunglasses from the 'Interchangeables' range to crown their day!
Sunwise is an award-winning British brand with an unrivalled blend of style, performance, and value that has made it one of the fastest growing names around, and it's now making a big impact in biking through new distributor MotoComp.
The flagship ChromaFusion Waterloo model is designed and manufactured in the UK - featuring unique polarised photochromic lenses in a crisp sports frame with straight arms to slide comfortably into a helmet and a total weight of only 20g. Capable of reacting to a wide range of light conditions, sharpening colours, and increasing perception in the shadows, Sunwise has created the ultimate biking sunglasses. MSRP is £59.99
The mainstream but no less innovative 'Interchangeables' range retails at an incredible £24.99, but every model includes a total of 3 pairs of interchangeable lenses for all light conditions.
The Thundersprint event, on May 10th in Northwich town centre, and Sunwise are ideal partners. The Thundersprint takes place on a tight, challenging circuit right in the centre of the pretty town of Northwich, Cheshire. The “Grand Prix in a Car Park”, as the Thundersprint track is affectionately known, is surrounded by trees and buildings creating tricky shadows to go with the ever-changing light conditions of a British summer. If the racers want to put on their best performance in front of the massive crowd, they'll need perfect visibility. They'll need to get Sunwise!

Sunwise Waterloo will be a welcomed addition to the Thundersprint.
The 100,000 plus spectators that make the Thundersprint one of Europe's biggest single-day motorsport event will be treated to an incredible array of star riders and rare bikes, old and new, with unbeatable close-up action. On top of this, spectators will get to see the Sunwise effect first hand, and leave with the knowledge that there is no longer a need to compromise vision while riding.
Moto Comp will be displaying, demonstrating and selling selected products from the Sunwise range from their stand at the Thundersprint Bike Show on Saturday, and outside the Thundersprint paddock entrance on Sunday.
We all know that a black visor is illegal on the road and unsuitable for overcast days and shadowy roads, yet a clear or smoked visor will let you down when the sun does shine. Sunwise ChromaFusion is capable of adapting perfectly between medium to strong sunlight, and its polarised lens increases clarity in shadows. Never squint, change visors, or meet the wagging finger of the law again.
