Beezumph Rally - 14/15 August - Cadwell Park England
Road triples are on the track too. Here is Matt Champion with Hyde Harrier triple.
This year’s gathering of all good things in the world of BSA/Triumph triples - hence the name Beezumph - promises to be the best ever. There is a whole galaxy of stars from the glory days of the wailing British triples and they include Triumph works riders Tony Jefferies, Paul Smart and Ron Chandler plus the legendary Percy Tait - Triumph’s test rider for both the road and race bikes.
One of the great attractions of the Beezumph is that the rally is held at the Cadwell Park race circuit in Lincolnshire. The twisting, 2.1 mile track hosts British Superbike races and provides a fantastic stage for the classic triples to strut their stuff on a circuit where they won so many races.
Gary Coward demonstrates the prowess of a racing Triumph triple.
Away from the track, the star attraction will be Craig Vetter, who designed the Triumph XR75 Hurricane - the world’s first production custom machine. Craig will be on hand all weekend together with his original XR 75 which is on loan from the AMA museum in America.
The Beezumph is one of the world’s friendliest bike events and there are talks, hog roasts and barbecues which will ensure that no-one goes to bed early
Entry for the whole weekend is a bargain £15 which includes camping.
