Miss Rat's Hole put smiles on plenty of faces in Daytona Beach and looks to do the same as the heralded Rat's Hole Bike Show makes its first appearance at the Lone Star Rally.

Motorcycle USA is packing up its bags and heading down to the sunny shores of the Gulf of Mexico to Galveston, Texas. It’s time once again for the annual Lone Star Rally, held from November 4-7. This year’s event pays tribute to this great country of ours, especially its service members, both past and present.
Lone Star Rally organizers and the Post 911 Foundation are conducting a “Follow the Flag” commemorative ride. The run will be lead by the Galveston City Fire Department who will carry an American flag from Ground Zero in honor those who fell on that fateful day. The Post 911 Foundation "was created with the intent to provide a higher quality of life to the first responders and veterans that keep us safe in our times of need." After the ride, the Navy’s New Orleans Full Steam Brass Band will perform. The 12-piece full brass band can also be found playing at various events on The Strand over the course of the weekend. Other military-related events include a search and rescue demonstration by the Coast Gurad and members of the Marine Corp. will be holding a Toys for Tots drive.
There will be a Celebrity Bike Builder Lot at Pier 21 with well-known custom builders
Paul Yaffe of Bagger Nation and Rick Fairless, owner of Stroker’s Dallas. Fairless has been getting plenty of publicity lately from TRU TV’s “Ma’s Roadhouse” which is shot at his popular bar and bike shop in Dallas. Another TRU TV star, Michael Ballard of “Full Throttle Saloon” fame, will also be on hand, as will Jay Barbieri, host of Discovery's “Two Wheel Thunder.”

Over 100,000 are said to be headed to The Strand for the 2010 Lone Star Rally
Plenty of fun is sure to be found at “The Pit” Bar hosted by the crew of the Limpnickie Lot . The Limpnickie Lot is a collection of young custom bike builders who travel the country promoting old-fashioned, handmade American craftsmanship. They also know a thing or two about having fun. If rockabilly, punk and skate music, hot rods and bobbers is your thing, then be sure to check them out. Industry figures like
Athena “Chickie” Ransom of Vagabond Choppers, Pat Patterson of Led Sled Customs, Chris Callen of Cycle Source magazine and Jay Allen from the Broken Spoke Saloon can be found milling about at any given time. Chris and Jay will be hosts for the Pin-Up Girl Contest Saturday night, so be sure to come throw down with promoters of the “next generation of cool.”
