2013 BMW R1200GS
The BMW R1200GS is powered by a new liquid-cooled version of the iconic Boxer Twin. The 1170cc opposed Twin claims 125 horsepower. The new R1200GS is a complete redesign, with new wet clutch and slipper functionality. It utilizes Ride-by-Wire technology, with switchable ride modes and cruise control. The chassis has also been updated, and now features optional dynamic electronic suspension. The BMW R1200GS claims a curb weight of 525 pounds and holds 5.3 gallons of fuel.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for certain 2013 BMW R1200GS motorcycles due to an issue with the transmission output seal.
