Just bought a used honda VT750C shadow aero 2006
IT has a chain drive (i was suprised ) and two carbs.
i found with research that some had two carbs verse one and are 30 pounds lighter and faster. so the spec's are correct.
the bike feels heavy to operate to me (the call it athledic)i guess cuz you have to be in great shape to ride it. I wish it had a back up kick starter too. batter went dead and i had to push it up hills from hell to get home.
Today is my first day of ownership, looking up " how to charge the battery"

Specs say chain drive. The 2006 VT750C Aero does not come with chain drive. Only shaft drive.
Ergonomically wonderful. Needs a bit more padding in the seat. Clunks when shifting into 2nd.
Specs also say dual carbs. The '06 comes with a single 44mm carb. Plenty of power at all rpm levels.
The bike is a great mid-sized cruiser. Best bang for the buck in the cruiser arena.

The specs given here say chain drive, mine is shaft (do they even come with chain). This is a lot of bike for the money. Well built(it's a Honda) and will last you 30 years easily.
