Mike "the bike" Stead......... - Looking for any help in the aid to myself building a replica Hailwood RC 181 Honda  February 17, 2010 09:41 PM
Im searching for any help or ideas or WEB SITES that could show me the finer details (pictures) on how to build in my garage a Mike Hailwood replica Honda RC181. What stock honda 750 to start with, where to buy parts((fairing, seat, tank, clip on`s pipes) what mods i can make to forks, brakes ect. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
I saw the great Stanley Michael Bailey Hailwood out last the 67 senior T.T. when i was just 10, Ago almost took it though..... a new chain would have done it for the M.V. ..... a great day for the RC 181 that warm & sunny Friday afternoon as i remember it. I did see Yoshi & son @ Willow Springs last April with a RC 181 replica..... a perfect job to boot. Any one have any idea on how that came about ?.
Thanx Mike Stead MSTEADLY@AOL.OCM
