O'Neal's Hardware combines great styling and a handful of performance-enhancing features to give racers and casual riders alike a sleek, comfortable addition to their riding gear.
Professional motocross athletes young and old choose the Hardwear line. Closing in on two decades of professional racing, veteran Mike LaRocco leads the O'Neal squad. The proverbial tough-guy on the national circuit, LaRocco knows what he needs, and wants out of his gear. Another top pro riding under the O'Neal tent is Suzuki sensation Broc Hepler. With two seasons under his belt, Hepler continues to chase the elusive championships with the Hardwear jersey as a part of his racing repertoire.
Made of 100% Polyester, the Bioderm Micro Fabric is durable as well as useful in wicking away sweat during long motos. Vented side panels allow additional air flow. With the exception of a miniscule logo on the back of the jersey, at the base of the neck, O'Neal opted to use fully sublimated graphics. The result is a well-fitting jersey that is less bulky and resists wear and fading. A V-neck collar tops off the package.
The sleeves are possibly the best part of the jersey with comfortable, relaxed fit cuffs and functional elbow padding. Many companies claim to offer padding in high wear areas, but the substance of the padding is often sub-par at best. Rather than stitching on an extra layer of fabric, the Hardwear comes with a foam-like material that is placed correctly for helping guard against impacts.
All things considered, the Hardwear jersey makes for a quality piece of gear that is, in reality, anything but a hard wear.
