Never having used Scorpion products before, I really didn't know what to expect from the Women's Nip Tuck Jacket. I immediately liked the styling, there's no doubt this jacket is very attractive. The graphics on the arms and down the back are eye catching without being obnoxious, and the embroidery on the elbows adds a nice touch. This jacket has a feminine look to it without being overly 'girly'. I especially appreciate this since so many manufacturers try for this look, but few really succeed.

The Nip Tuck Jacket was obviously designed with the female frame in mind. Generally I am forced to wear jackets that are quite loose around the waist in order to compensate for the 'girls' up top. This can lead to some very annoying flapping at higher speeds. Not so here, thanks to the adjustable elastic cords that run along each side and provide for a custom fit. Any woman with curves will really appreciate this feature. And while it is very well fitted, the jacket is surprisingly flexible. Even on long rides I never noticed any bunching or riding up.

When I first got my hands on this jacket the weather was still quite nippy here in Southern Oregon. With a warm shirt on underneath, the Nip Tuck keeps you plenty warm. It wouldn't be my first choice if it was really cold though. I've been anxiously waiting for the days to turn warm enough to take out the 'Airguard wind liner' and see how the jacket works in hot weather. I wasn't disappointed. The air flow through the nylon mesh panels on the chest, inner arms, and back is significant; cooling you down even in mid-afternoon sunshine. This is where the Nip Tick really shines.

To keep you protected if the worst happens, there is Exo-Tec armor in the elbows and shoulders - a strong yet pliable form of protection. The fabric non-mesh areas of the jacket are made of a ballistic nylon, so you can feel safe even while staying cool.

With an MSRP of only $149.95, this jacket is a real deal. Many comparable jackets can run significantly higher in price. And if you are like me, even though safety is always important, cost is also a significant factor. I like it so much though, that for the price I'm considering getting it in another color (but how's a girl to choose?).

The Nip Tuck is without a doubt my new favorite summer riding jacket. I've got to agree with Scorpion, ladies you want to 'Get Stung'!
